What steps do I need to take to use one of your templates on my site?
In order to use our templates you must sign up for hosting and use the shopping cart software provided by one of theapproved web hostson ourapproved web hosts page.
-Once you purchase your web hosting from one of our approved web hosts(some plans are only for hosting, so please verify with the host that your plan includes the shopping cart software that is needed for our templates), you can then peruse our catalog of pre-made template designsand choose the template you would like to use for your website.
-You will then submit your order through our online ordering system and once we receive your order and full payment, you will receive a customization questionnaire for the template you purchased via email. Once we receive your complete customization questionnaire, we will begin working on your customized proof. We provide electronic proofs for all designs purchased through our website. Please allow 9-10 business days for your customized proof to be prepared and ready for your review. A link to your proof will be emailed to you once it is ready.
-Once you approve the proof, we will then install the template within your approved web hosting account within 24 business hours.
Does your template price include design installation?
Yes. Our template price includes free installation of your design template, stylesheet, and all associated graphics as long as you are using a shopping cart/hosting solution that is on our approved shopping cart page.
How long does it take to customize a ready made template?
Please allow 9-10 business days(Monday through Friday) from when we receive your customization questionnaire and full payment for us to customize the template with your information and provide you with a customized proof.
Once you approve the proof and we have the valid log in details for the approved web host you will be using, we will then install your template files within 24 business hours(Monday through Friday).
You may not transfer ownership of the design to another individual. If you need to purchase full ownership and copyright to your design so that you may transfer ownership to a secondary individual, then you will need to contact us to purchase the copyright to the designs.
Keep in mind if you purchased a pre-made template and other designs have been sold, you may not purchase the copyright due to the fact that we can not sell it to you as a OOAK. Pricing for full copyright ownership varies depending on the design, but can range from $1000-$6000 per template or graphics site.
Can I have the source or .psd files for my template?
We do not release source files or layered .psd files for any of our designs. You will receive the customized graphics contained in your purchased design, but source or layered files are never released. Please note that we do require any additional usage of our graphics to be licensed with us.

Does your template price include design installation?

If you use a host that is not on our approved list...you will be responsible for installing the template and images within your website. We can not offer installation support for non approved web hosts. You will receive the base .html template file and all customized graphics(no source or .psd files are ever released).
If you are using a host that you feel uses a similar shopping cart system as our other approved web hosts, please feel free to contact us to see if your cart is compatible with our templates and we can let you know if we will be able to provide installation services...
How long does it take to customize a ready made template?
Please allow 9-10 business days(Monday through Friday) from when we receive your customization questionnaire and full payment for us to customize the template with your information and provide you with a customized proof.
Once you approve the proof and we have the valid log in details for the approved web host you will be using, we will then install your template files within 24 business hours(Monday through Friday).
Do you have a phone number we may contact you at?
I am a Web designer and one of my clients would like to use one of your templates on their website. Can I purchase the template to use on my clients website?
Unfortunately, as stated in our terms, we do not allow web designers or graphic designers to purchase our templates to use on their own clients websites. All template purchases, must be made by the business owner that will be using the template directly through our website.
What forms of Payment do you accept?
I am a business or individual and I would like to purchase your graphics and re-sell them.
You may not transfer ownership of the design to another individual. If you need to purchase full ownership and copyright to your design so that you may transfer ownership to a secondary individual, then you will need to contact us to purchase the copyright to the designs.
Keep in mind if you purchased a pre-made template and other designs have been sold, you may not purchase the copyright due to the fact that we can not sell it to you as a OOAK. Pricing for full copyright ownership varies depending on the design, but can range from $1000-$6000 per template or graphics site.
Can I have the source or .psd files for my template?
We do not release source files or layered .psd files for any of our designs. You will receive the customized graphics contained in your purchased design, but source or layered files are never released. Please note that we do require any additional usage of our graphics to be licensed with us.
For example...you purchase a Made to Match Business Card Image, you would like to extract the company name and embellishments out of this design and use it for a post card you will mail to your customers. You either need to purchase a print logo from us at a fee of $40 and then you can use the logo however you wish for any number of print items or you need to purchase a Made to Match Post Card image design from us which will contain the license for this use. The logo is a better deal as you can use the logo for any number of branded print items. The $40 fee is only for Made to Match Print Logos for our Pre-Made Templates or Print Image designs. Custom Logo design is not covered under this pricing, the Made to Match logo will look exactly like your pre-made design.

General Terms of Service
{Payment}
We accept Credit Card Payments and e-Checks through Paypal. When paying with e-Check, please note that no work will begin on your design project until the e-Check has cleared through Paypal.
{Shipping}
Shipping and Handling for all of our Graphic and Web Design work is Free, as all products are delivered digitally. If you require a copy of your project or design on CD, please contact us for pricing. Items requiring shipping, such as logo cds, graphic cds, or our new printing services will incur shipping fees based on the number of units ordered.
{Graphics}
Graphics and our finished page layouts are not to be resold, re-formatted, re-used, transferred, reposted, given away, changed, revised, decompiled in whole or in part for any reason by the client who purchased or any other party on their behalf. You are purchasing either a non exclusive use license(for Unlimited Designs or Limited Ed. Designs) or an Exclusive Use License(for OOAK and Custom Designs). You may only use the purchased templates in the manner stated within the listing for your own website and the domain for which it was purchased and licensed. Please note that licenses can not be transferred either internally or to an outside party by the purchaser or any other party on their behalf. If you need to use the template on a new domain, you will need to re-purchase(if quantities are available), as the purchase will include a new license for the new domain. The copyright and all other rights for the template design, graphics, layout, and coding remains with Mod Melon. Mod Melon does not release source or layered graphics with any of our templates or designs. You will receive the graphics in your purchased design customized with your details, but they will be in a merged web format(.gif or .jpg) and they may only be used in the manner for which they were intended.
Please Note:
We will not use graphics created or utilized by other designers, due to the fact that we can not verify copyright and origin of the graphics. We will require that any design we create use either our own hand/mouse drawn illustrations/graphics or graphics we have obtained from one of our verified resources. This policy was created to insure that any design we deliver to our clients is 100% legal and compliant. The only exception to this is if you have a logo design to which you own the copyright. If this is the case, we will need to see a written statement to this effect from the logo designer before we will make the final determination of whether the logo can be used in our design.
{Copyrights:}
Graphics and our finished page layouts are not to be resold, re-formatted, re-used, transferred, reposted, given away, changed, revised, decompiled in whole or in part for any reason by the client who purchased or any other party on their behalf. If you need a matching design created for another use, please contact us for a quote as we normally offer discounts to our current or previous design customers.
The graphic images we use in our templates and designs have been created by Mod Melon or it's licensors. We take copyright infringement seriously, and any one caught abusing our policies will be required to correct the issue immediately. If we do not receive compliance from the offending party, the hosting company of the offender will be notified of the infraction. All credit links at the bottom of the design must remain in place for legal use of the design. The credit will be in the form of a link at the bottom of the design. All copyrights should be respected and upheld.
We dislike having to put a statement like this on our website, but we also have to protect our intellectual property rights and the rights of our customers. Due to some recent events of copying, we feel the need to place this statement on this page as a reminder of Basic Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights laws. The designs on our website are copyright protected and any copying of design concepts, layout, coding, or graphics is not only unethical, but it is also illegal.
****Note to Web Designers****
I am adding some specific terms for other web designers to follow:
Our graphics/website templates can NOT be used to design websites for your clients or to design website or auction templates that you will then sell and gain profit from. You may not purchase our design, add it to a site, then re-sell it and gain profit directly from our design being used. We retain all rights to our images, coding, concepts, and layouts. When you purchase a design from us, you are only purchasing a license to use the items in the manner stated in the listing AND if all terms are met. You do not, under any circumstance have re-sell rights to the graphics, coding, layout, or concepts.
I urge clients to inspect your designer and their background to ensure they comply with copyright laws, as you can be held responsible for using illegal coding and graphics.
{Portfolio}
Mod Melon reserves the right to use your completed design and any additional graphics created for your design in our Portfolio as a representation of our past work experience.
PRINTING TERMS OF SERVICE
{SHIPPING TIMES}
Please note due to the custom and personalized nature of our products, we do ask for 7-10 business days from when you approve your proof for us to print your order, package and ship it out to you, please note this is in addition to shipping times. We may sometimes get your order out sooner, but can not guarantee any shipping times sooner than 7-10 business days. If you need an order in a rush, please let us know before purchase and we will see if we can accommodate you.
{SHIPPING METHOD}
Our United States orders will all ship via USPS Priority Mail in a Sturdy Flat Rate box with delivery confirmation. We value your satisfaction and want to make sure we send your items in a sturdy box so that your new treats will arrive to you in their intended state.
{INTERNATIONAL ORDERS}
Orders shipping to Canada and other areas will have the choice between a Flat Rate Priority Box or First Class Mail.
The customer (you) is(are) responsible for all custom fees and we will not change or alter the value of the goods, so please do not ask.
{REFUNDS}
Due to the custom made and personalized nature of our products, we can not accept returns or exchanges on our merchandise. We provide digital proofs of all of our designs prior to sending to print. Once you sign off on a proof you are responsible for the accuracy of that proof. We will not reprint for errors not caught during the proofing process -- please inspect your proof closely for accuracy.
{Color Accuracy}
There is no way to guarantee color accuracy from what you see on your monitor to the final printed product. This is due to a myriad of issues from monitor calibration, monitor settings, back lighting, and the difference in the color spectrum used for printing versus what your monitor displays. No refunds will be given for color differences or variances.
It is the clients responsibility to make sure they have read, understand, and comply with our terms of service before completing their purchase.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any company or indivual at our discretion.
